I'm Melissa, a native Maryland girl currently living in beutiful, sunny, Southern California. I'm a mama to 3 and Lolli (grandma) to 5 beautiful grand babies.
I've been around construction my whole life, with a father, brothers and husband who are all contractors in some form of the construction industry. As a little girl, I loved tagging along with my dad on side jobs, watching him do what he loved. He passed his passion for the trades to all of his children.
I spent the past 5 years helping grow a start-up steel company as co-owner and primary office administrator. In this role, I did all bookkeeping, including but not limited to, estimating, payroll, monthly and year-end reporting. I never lost the love of being on a jobsite, so there were definitely days you could find me on-site with a tool belt and tools ready to get to work.
